Meh. Probably would have been better as just a crime/thiller. It would have been short, but could have given the characters a bit more depth instead. But for no explained reason we have Persephone aka Seph (Yes the greek one) on respite from her annual six months with Hades. She works in a tattoo parlour - loving the permanence adding to mortal lives - and has feisty friend Kim, and Kim's sister goes missing just as a serial killer is striking women of a similar build. Kim jollies the police investigation along as they don't seem to be progressing. Help by one handsome copper and his irritating partner.

Seph adds nothing but pagecount to the whole story. It is a paranormal romance so some sex is expected and present, but it isn't too icky.
