Hildegard of Bingen, twelfth-century Rhineland mystic, was one of Earth's most evolved and visionary individuals. Her alchemical weaving of earth and sky, water and fire, in Scivias (Know the Ways) is a magnificent fusion of divine inspiration and human intellect. As a visionary record, Scivias is perhaps the most complete and powerful documentation of mystical illumination in recorded history. Hildegard's work influence thousands during her lifetime, and was highly respected in religious, scientific, political, and artistic circles.
