Mystery is a good book wherein the word mystery has a couple different meanings in this book. Alex Delaware takes on the role of an actor/detective/psychiatrist in order to solve a mystery death. This book received four stars in this review and is highly recommended. ( )

Alex and Robin decide to attend a closing party at an old hotel, where they had memories. Afterwards, a beautiful female patron is brutally executed and Milo is assigned to catch the culprit, but do not even know the victim's name. With some outside help, they determine she is a retired prostitute, whose sugar daddy had died about nine months earlier and they have to see whether it was a family matter. Only OK. ( )

A standard in the Alex Delaware series. This one is set in Hollywood, the murder occurs in an old landmark hotel that's closing, and Alex and Milo Sturgis are on the case which takes the usual twists and turns as they try to determine who's lying. Nothing new here. ( )
  Terrie2018 | Feb 21, 2020 |
Not one of Kellerman's better efforts- found it stale, boring and basically uninteresting. ( )
