3.75 rounded up.

As much as I loved some parts of this one, I didn’t like it as much as the previous two books. The action sequences were really good — the Rowe-Noah deadly Ranger duo rocks! — but I didn’t like the way Jagger, the villain of this series, grew to almost mythical proportions here. I mean sure, he'd been a powerful drug lord, but later he was just a man on the run with a few lackeys helping him! This made the whole Ian arc somewhat unrealistic, but I still enjoyed it — suspension of disbelief and all that.

I can’t say I really felt the romance between Ian and Hollis. Their story wasn’t as gripping as Snow and Jude’s or Rowe and Noah’s. The sex was hot, and I’m happy for Ian for getting over his expected hangups, but something was missing for me. Maybe I just don’t like Hollis, I dunno. Ian is a total sweetie, though.

What I love the most about this series are the eponymous ‘unbreakable bonds’ between these guys. Their strong friendship, and their shenanigans, give these books life. ( )

Damn. I am seriously so sad that this series is over. I'm grateful to have one more mini-book, but I love these guys so much. There is so much humor (code names are HYSTERICAL), and the love they have for each other is so amazing. The chemistry between the brothers is fantastic, and the inclusion and addition of their partners made for such a strong family.

I was glad to see the resolution of the Jagger situation. These guys needed to finally find reprieve. It was hard to get to, but the end was worth freedom and stability for all of them, especially Ian. I loved Ian and Hollis together. You could see the attraction building through the other 3 books, but they finally found their way to each other, and they were perfect together.

Amazing series. Sad it's over, but so glad I read it. One of my favorites. ( )
