Hot damn! This was an amazing start to a spin-off series (from Unbreakable Bonds), and one of the best! I suppose it could be a standalone because some back information was given so you could stay informed, but reading the Unbreakable Bonds series first is highly recommended. First off, we meet Geoffrey and Sven in those books, and it is fun to see them in those stories. Second, those books are so damn good that you should really read them!!! REALLY! This series focuses on the guys in Rowe's security company. I love the new direction these are going, but love that I get to see the other guys from the first series.

Geoffrey is receiving messages from a stalker, and then it escalates. He has worked with Sven before, and requests him for a bodyguard. Sven has been attracted to Geoffrey, but always tried not to act on it. Being in close quarters and seeing each other in a more comfortable atmosphere lets them see the other's true self, and they find they have more in common than they thought. Geoffrey and Sven were so great together. They communicated, they flirted, they joked, and they loved. It was beautiful, and I loved them. The mystery was interesting and not easily determined, and it kept me engaged through the whole thing. Can't wait for more. ( )

I give up. Psycho Romeo just isn't working for me for a number of reasons. But listing those reasons will take more effort than I'm willing to expend on this book, and it's my very subjective opinion anyway.

Sadly I haven't had much luck with the last few m/m books I've picked up. How I miss the taut storytelling of a CS Pacat or Aleksandr Voinov. :( Not to mention their complex, conflicted and clean-shaven heroes. :)
