Really short story but worth a read. ( ) For all that there were no actual "devilish devices" in this short story, Pratchett managed to keep things entertaining as he soundly mocks the academic establishment through the absolutely backwards and inept wizards of Unseen University's "faculty." Faculty being a loose term of course, since this lot likely hasn't done a day of proper research in their lives, and is much more concerned with what's coming next on the tea trolly. Hear hear fellows, you may be a disgrace to your profession, but you never cease to entertain! This was cute and a little bit funny, but it was also very short and it didn’t really have any substance. It was basically a meeting of the Wizards of Unseen University in which they discuss an inspection report for their university. Alas, Rincewind was nowhere to be found, nor was he even mentioned.
